When I post something on the wordpress version, how does it appear to you? Is it preferable to post on this blog? Does Google notify you twice (once for a post on wordpress and once for the same post here)?
I was seeing duplicate posts, or even triplicate posts for the coming out or chickening out one, but the last three posts all seem to have just posted once. Looks like you've fixed it, but incase you ever want to expand your social media sphere further I find this website useful: https://ifttt.com/
